When woodturners get together ideas fly, energy flows. On our first working/Demo meeting, Wayne Omura gave us the first great tip, worthy of making it here, our Woodturning Tips page.

I call this log/blank holder, “The Omura Holder”

One of the hardest things in woodturning is how to hold a medium or small blank so you can safely cut it whit a chainsaw. Pictures are self explanatory. But you can email us if you have any questions.

A Koa’ia blank was the first on, holder works great! Highly recommended.

Simply walk around and trim as need it… Simple and effective solution…
