Due to some scheduling conflicts our first meeting of the year was held Saturday, February 4th 2017. A great Live Remote Interactive Demo about box making and hand chased threads.

Second meeting of 2017 was held Sunday, February 19th. Bob Satterfield, a Wisconsin woodturner showed us the basic cuts with a skew. Was a very successful meeting, with the largest attendance in months!!
Our third meeting of 2017 was held on Sunday March 4th. At the Studio of Emiliano Achaval. Club Member Jim Wilkus, made a beautiful "Bowl inside a bowl" A great and very original idea!!
Saturday, April 15th 2017. Another great Live Remote & Interactive demo by Master woodturner Lyle Jamieson. Lyle gave us over 4 hours of intense woodturning instruction. The biggest crowd of the year, 18 turners, helped made the meeting the most successful of the year! We also had our biggest wood raffle ever!!
On Monday June 12th 2017, Master Australian woodturner Guilio Marcolongo gave the club an outstanding demo. He's an amazing woodturner, and also a great all around guy.
On Sunday July 30th, 2017, club president Emiliano Achaval showed the club members that attended the demo everything that he learned at Arrowont school of arts and crafts with master Irish woodturner Emmet Kane.
Sunday, September 17th 2017. A very fun and successful club meeting Tom Calhoun showed us a lot of ways to embellish work. He brought with him several beautiful boxes and bowls with some great examples of different techniques. Our club raffle was extra fun due to Carter and Sons $50 gift certificate!
